2. Anaemia & Surgery


Anaemia and iron deficiency can be identified in one blood test (FBC and Ferritin studies). This can be done by your GP or surgical team.

The earlier its identified the better the outcomes for surgery, reducing the need for transfusions, reducing fatigue and overall better outcomes.
